This is a 1989 18K rose gold Patek Philippe Calatrava 3796. It includes an alligator leather strap with a matching gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a signed pull out winding crown, and a snap down solid case back with a thumb flip and hallmarks. The 30.5mm solid two-body solid case, curved lugs, and stepped flat bezel, are polished/brushed. It includes a silver dial with gold dauphine sword hands, and "boat shaped" applied baton hour markers, surrounded by an outer raised pip minute track. It has a silver subsidiary small constant running seconds dial at 6 o'clock with black markers and a gold sword indicator hand. It's water resistant to 30 meters, it has a 44-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Calatrava 3796 has a mechanical manual winding caliber 215 movement that's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment; it's stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark. It's constructed with 5 bridges, 130 components, 18 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, a straight-line lever escapement, and a self-compensating flat Spiromax balance spring. It has the patented Patek Philippe Gyromax balance that compensates for cold, heat, isochronism, and 5 positions. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This Patek Philippe Calatrava 3796 was introduced in the 1980's.
