More about Patek Philippe 5022P Calatrava 5022 Platinum RARE

This mid-2000's Patek Philippe 5022p Calatrava is platinum with a manual wind movement. It measures hours and minutes and has a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. It was also made in white gold, yellow gold and rose gold. The dial is white porcelain with painted Breguet-style Arabic numerals and hands. It has a Caliber 215 movement with 18 jewels, 130 parts, and a Gyromax balance that vibrates at 28,800 oscillations per hour. The power reserve has a maximum of 44 hours and there is a Patek Philippe seal. The strap is leather with an 18K rose gold pin buckle, it's water resistant to 30m, and the case is 6.5mm thin. Patek's Calatrava line was first introduced in 1932 as the flagship timepieces of the brand. The general design was based on the German Bauhaus movement in fine art that appeared in the early 1900's; Bauhaus translates as "school of building." The Calatrava line is still one of the more elegant Patek family of watches.
