More about Travel Time 5134P Manual Silver Dial Platinum

This is a platinum Patek Philippe Travel Time 5134P-001. It has an alligator leather strap with a Patek Philippe platinum Calatrava deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out protected winding crown, and a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back, with hallmarks underneath the lugs. The 37mm diameter (including crown) two-body solid platinum case, gently curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished. There are twin rectangular form-fitting push buttons on the left-side case band: the pusher at 8 o'clock advances the center sweep skeletonized GMT second time zone hand forward in hour increments, while the pusher at 10 o'clock moves it backwards. The two-tone silver dial has applied faceted white gold "boat-shape" platinum hour markers, around a perimeter black minute scale, and dauphine white gold hands. The two recessed guilloche silver subsidiary dials include a 24-hour register with a large arrow hand at 12 o'clock (that shows if the GMT second time zone is in night or day), and a running small seconds indicator is at 6 o'clock. There is a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Travel Time 5134P-001 has a manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 215 movement. It's stamped with the seal of Geneva quality mark, and it's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 18 jewels, 6 bridges, 178 components, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and an index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Patek Philippe Travel Time 5134P-001 was introduced in 2002.
