This is an 18k rose gold Roger Dubuis H40 Hommage Chronograph H40 560. It includes a blue alligator leather strap with an 18k rose deployment buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating. It has a pull-out signed winding crown, fluted round chronograph pushrod style push buttons, and a screw down exhibition sapphire display crystal case back engraved with "ROGER DUBUIS – HORLOGER GENEVOIS," and hallmarks underneath the lugs. The 40mm diameter round solid three-body case, and stepped convex bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is glossy blue lacquer with applied rose gold Arabic numeral hour markers and applied "boat" shaped hour indices surrounded by a gold pip minute/second ring. There is an outer gilt tachymeter scale to 950 UPH and an inner gilt 360-degree chapter ring. It includes twin recessed two-tone blue subsidiary dials with gilt Arabic numerals, markers, and rose gold feuille indicator hands. It has skeletonized rose gold feuille leaf hour and minute hands and a gold center sweep second hand with an ovoid counterbalance. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, it has a 45-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Roger Dubuis Sympathie Chronograph H40 560 has a mechanical manual winding Roger Dubuis caliber RD56 (based on the Lemania caliber 2310) column wheel chronograph movement with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and the quality of Geneva Seal. It's rhodium plated and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. It includes a swan-neck micrometer regulator, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5Hz). This rare Roger Dubuis Sympathie Chronograph H40 655 was introduced in c. 2000 in a limited edition of only 28 examples worldwide. It includes certification from the Besancon Observatory.
