More about Datejust Roman Dial Jubiliee Roman 18K / SS
This is a 904L stainless steel/18K yellow gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 116233. It has an integral stainless steel and 18k Yellow Gold Rolsor bracelet. The fluted bezel and screwed-down Twinlock double waterproof crown are 18K yellow gold, and the two-body solid 36mm diameter case is polished and brushed, with a screwed-down solid case back and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops magnifying lens over the date aperture at 3 o'clock. The instantaneous date has rapid setting, and there is a stop-seconds mechanism for precise time setting. The dial is grey rhodium with a sunbeam design and applied yellow gold radial Roman numeral hour markers, and a railway-style black perimeter minute/second track. It includes yellow gold baton hands and a central sweep seconds hand. It has a COSC certification (Certified Official Superlative Chronometer). It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, it has a 48-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 116233 has an automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3135 movement that's rhodium-plated with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It has bidirectional self-winding by the perpetual rotor, a monobloc middle case, and it's constructed with 31 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, and 5 positions, and a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring. It has Microstella regulating screws, a hacking seconds mechanism, and the oscillator has a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 116233 was introduced in the 2000's. The bi-metal combination of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 116233 of stainless steel and 18K gold is named Rolesor, which was registered by Rolex in 1933. The company's first watches with two contrasting metals were introduced in the 1920s.
