Rolex introduced the Rolex Oyster Sea Dweller Deep Sea 126660 for extreme underwater exploring in 2008. This is the modern, advanced model of the great Rolex Oyster diverâs watches of the 1950's and 60â's. It evolved from Rolex masterpieces like the Sea-Dweller and Submariner. When it originally debuted in 2008, the Deep Sea was named after the experimental Rolex 1960 Deep Sea Special, the historical watch that dived to 10,916 meters in the Mariana Trench.
