This is a stainless-steel Rolex Explorer II 16570. It includes an integral stainless- steel Oyster link bracelet with a folding deployment clasp and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down signed Triplock winding crown and a solid screw down case back. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, bracelet, gently curved lugs, and flat 24-hour graduated 24-hour second time zone bezel with black Arabic numerals on the even hours, are polished/brushed. It has a black dial with luminous tritium steel pointed Rolex "Mercedes" hands, a red GMT hand with a luminous arrow tip, a center sweep second hand with a luminous "lollipop" indicator, and luminous dot, baton, and triangular hour markers. The date aperture with a Cyclops bubble-magnifying lens is at 3 o'clock, and it has stop-seconds for precise time setting, and two time zones; the second time zone has independent rapid setting of the hour hand. Included is the Officially Certified Superlative Chronometer (COSC) certification. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Rolex Oyster Explorer II 16570 has a mechanical automatic winding caliber 3185 movement that's rhodium plated. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance adjusted to cold, heat, and 5 positions, and a self-compensating Breguet balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28800 vph (4Hz). The Rolex Oyster Explorer II 16570 was introduced in 1989 and it was produced until 2011.
