This is a stainless steel Rolex Oyster Explorer II 16570. It has an integral 904L stainless steel oyster (78360) bracelet with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp. It has a solid screw-down case back and a Twinlock screw-down winding crown with a crown guard. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, integral lugs, and 24-hour graduated bezel are polished/brushed. It has a white dial with luminous Rolex hands, a center red GMT hand with a luminous triangular pointer, a center sweep seconds hand, and applied luminous dot, baton, and triangular hour markers. The date aperture with a Cyclops bubble-magnifying lens is at 3 o'clock, and it has stop-seconds for precise time setting, and two time zones; the second time zone has independent rapid setting of the hour hand. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Rolex Oyster Explorer II 16570 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber 3186 movement. It's rhodium-plated, and it's constructed with 31 jewels, a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers. It has bidirectional self-winding via a perpetual rotor, a Glucydur monometallic balance, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This Rolex Oyster Explorer II 16570 was introduced in the 2000's. The original Rolex Explorer II was introduced in 1971.
