This is a c. 1995 stainless-steel Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual Date 16610. It includes an integral stainless-steel deployment oyster link bracelet, and a graduated, unidirectional rotating black bezel. There is a screw-down solid case back, and the 40mm diameter solid three-body case, integral downturned lugs, and bracelet are polished/brushed It has a black dial with luminescent tritium steel dot, triangle, and baton hour markers, with luminous steel Rolex hour and minute hands, and a center sweep second hand. The triangle at 12 o'clock is used for aligning the bezel, and it has a 60-minute elapsed time graduation with Arabic numerals every 10 minutes. The sapphire crystal has a Cyclops magnifying bubble over the date window at 3 o'clock, and it's a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC). It has a screw down Triplock winding crown protected by a crown guard and it's water resistant to 300 meters/1,000 feet. The 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual Date 16610 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3135 movement. It's rhodium-plated with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that adjusts for cold, heat, and 5 positions. It also has an Incabloc shock absorber mechanism, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual Date 16610 was introduced in 1989 and it was produced until 2010. It was fitted with a Super-Luminova dial after 1999.
