This is an extremely rare vintage stainless steel Universal Geneve Exotic Slate Dial Tri Compax 881101/03. It has round chronograph push buttons, and a solid screw-down case back, inside of which is engine turned and engraved "STAINLESS STEEL – SWISS," and the Universal Geneve shield with a hallmark. The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, gently curved lugs, graduated bezel with a tachymeter to 500 UPH. The original dial is slate grey with applied faceted steel baton hour markers with luminous inserts. It has white tapered hands with luminous inserts, a red center sweep chronograph seconds hand, and there is a white perimeter minute/one-fifth second scale on a raised grey inner bezel. There are three off white subsidiary dials with white markings and hands, including a running seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, a 30-minute indicator at 3 o'clock, and there is a combination moon phase dial with radial date numerals at 12 o'clock. There are rectangular day and month aperture windows with red letters at 10 and 2 o'clock respectively. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Universal Geneve Exotic Dial Tri Compax 181101/03 has a mechanical manual winding Universal Geneve caliber 281 movement. It's rhodium plated and it's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted for 5 positions, a blued steel Breguet balance spring, and an index regulator.
