This is a stainless steel Urban Jurgensen 1140 L. It has a textured leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and scratch resistant domed sapphire crystal. It has a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, "teardrop" sculptured lugs, and stepped bezel, are polished. The hand guilloche champagne dial is made from a single piece of solid silver and includes an circular brushed outer chapter ring. It has blued steel "observatory" hands with a white gold "eye" on the hour hand, applied white gold Breguet-style Arabic numeral hour markers, and applied pips and dots comprising a "pearled" perimeter minute scale outer track. There is a large recessed guilloche subsidiary running small seconds dial with white gold pip markers and indicator hand at the 6 o'clock position. It has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Urban Jurgensen 1140 has a mechanical manual winding in-house P4 movement. It's rhodium plated with cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with twin barrels mounted in series, a shock absorber device, 23 jewels, blued screws, and a Swiss lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance adjusted for isochronism, heat, cold, and five positions, a stop seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Urban Jurgensen 1140L was introduced in 2019 as a limited edition of 50 examples.
