It has a screw down signed winding crown, rectangular tonneau chronograph push buttons and there is solid case back secured with 8 screws engraved with "VACHERON CONTANTIN – GENEVE – SWISS MADE," and reference numbers. The 36mm by 40mm solid three-body case, fluted art deco-style downturned flared lugs, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is grained grey with applied steel art deco Arabic numeral hour markers around a white luminous perimeter chronograph second /minute scale with Arabic numerals at the half minute and triangles at the quarter-hours. It includes steel sword minute and hour hands with luminous inserts, a steel center sweep chronograph seconds hand, and a steel-framed date aperture double window at the 12 o'clock position. There is a recessed round steel ringed small constant running seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock with luminous Arabic numerals and a steel indicator hand. It has twin black steel framed rectangular subsidiary dials with white luminous Arabic numerals, steel sword indicator hands including a 12-hour chronograph register at 9 o'clock and a 30-minute chronograph totalizer dial at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are signed. This Vacheron & Constantin Royal Eagle Chronograph 49145/000A/9057 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Vacheron & Constantin caliber 1137 (based in the Frederic Piguet caliber 1185) column wheel chronograph movement that's rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 37 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an 18K gold rotor.
