It has a fluted signed screw down winding crown, round chronograph push buttons with locking screw down collars, and there is a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved around the perimeter with "VACHERON CONSTANTIN – SWISS MADE – 5500V – 150M – ANTIMAGNETIC", hallmarks, and the quality seal of Geneva. The 42.5mm diameter barrel-shaped solid three-body case, gently curved hooded lugs, and round polished finished Maltese cross form bezel, are polished/brushed. It has a silver dial with polished applied luminous rose gold baton hour markers around a minute/second scale on a silver perimeter flange with Arabic numerals every five minutes to 60. It includes polished pointed rose gold baton hands with luminous fill, and a center sweep chronograph seconds hand with an ovoid counterbalance. There are three recessed silver concentric circle guilloche subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals and markers and white gold indicator hands, including a small constant running seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph counter at the 3 o'clock position. It has a soft iron casing ring for anti-magnetic protection, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
