F. P. Journe Chronometre Resonance Platinum "PRE-SOUSCRIPTION" Circa 2000 AMAZING

F.P Journe "Pre-Souscription" Resonance, As part of F.P Journe's very early production these pieces were actually produced prior to the 20 Souscription Resonances, this one, also from the year 2000, is believed to be one of the first 25 to come out of the manufacture, 950 platinum case on a strap with a matching 950 platinum buckle, the case is in excellent condition and displays the shallow hand engravings on the caseback that were a hallmark of these early watches, legendary manual wind Brass F.P. Journe caliber 1499 movement, two escapements that influence and stabilize each other allowing for two independent time zones, combined power reserve at 12 o'clock, crown at 12 o'clock winds the movement and sets the hours and minutes of each dial independently, crown at 4 o'clock resets both seconds hands to zero, 18k yellow gold dial is original and has developed a beautiful warm patina, the dial has a very rich and charming "shimmer" in the light, two-tone recessed guilloche silver subdials (also a noted feature of these early pieces), blued hands, 40-hour power reserve with indicator at 12 o'clock, water resistant, diameter: 38mm, thickness: 8.8mm, serial number 04X/00R, Exceptional original condition with Original FP Journe Box appropriate for the Resonance, Instruction Booklet and Certificate of Origin signed by F.P. Journe. This watch was fully serviced in February of 2021 and is an amazing example of a rare, early and historically important F.P. Journe watch. A must have for the most refined and determined collector.
