More about San Marco Blue COSC

This is a stainless steel Ulysse Nardin San Marco Chronometer 133-77-9/E3. It has an alligator leather strap with a Ulysse Nardin stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown, and a solid case back secured with 4 screws, and engraved "ULYSSE NARDIN – SAN MARCO – SWISS MADE," a serial number, and with the Ulysse Nardin griffon in high relief. The 37mm diameter solid three-body case, fluted downturned lugs, and angled concave bezel, are polished. The dial is blue enamel guilloche with applied steel baton hour indices, applied Roman numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, and luminous dot hour markers. It has polished steel leaf hands with luminous inserts, a center sweep seconds hand, and there is a double-rimmed date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters 100 feet, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Ulysse Nardin San Marco Chronometer 133-77-9/E3 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Eta 2892-A2 movement. It's gilt brass, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Ulysse Nardin San Marco Chronometer 133-77-9/E3 was introduced in the 1990's.
