This is a stainless steel Panerai Ferrari Chronograph Granturismo Chronograph FER00004. It has a rubber strap with a stainless steel double folding deployment buckle, and a slightly domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating. There is a screw down winding crown and round screw down chronograph push buttons textured with a square grid pattern and with the Ferrari logo. There is a solid screw down case back engraved with the Ferrari prancing horse logo and crosshatch patterning, engraved with "ENGINEERED BY OFFICINE PANERAI-STAINLESS STEEL-100M," and a serial number. The 45mm cushion-shaped solid three-body case, downturned screwed lugs, and concave angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial has a black square-grid pattern with an applied polished Ferrari horse logo at 12 o'clock, steel baton hands with luminous inserts, a red center sweep chronograph hand with a round luminous indicator, and a white luminous 60-minute/one fifth second railroad-style scale with Arabic numerals every five-minutes. There is a white tachymeter scale to 400 UPH around the perimeter flange. It has two steel-rimmed subsidiary dials with white markers with red accents, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, and a smaller running small seconds register is at 3 o'clock. It has a 46-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 16.6mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Ferrari Chronograph Granturismo Chronograph FER00004 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai OP XII (base ETA 7753) movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and Côtes de Genève embellishment. It's constructed with 27 jewels, blued screws, an Incabloc anti-shock mechanism, a straight-line lever escapement, and a Glucydur monometallic balance that's adjusted for heat, cold and 5 positions. There is a self-compensating flat balance spring, a personalized Panerai oscillating weight, and the mechanism vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Panerai Ferrari Chronograph Granturismo Chronograph FER00004 was introduced in 2006 in a limited edition of 500 pieces, and was produced until 2009.
