This is an 18K rose gold Blancpain Villeret Ultra Slim Date, 1158-3642-55. It has a leather strap with a matching 18K rose gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant bombé sapphire crystal. The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, stepped bezel, and straight lugs are polished. It has a transparent sapphire crystal display case back. The dial is white opaline with applied rose gold Roman numeral hour markers in a recessed reserve, gold luminous sword hands, and a central sweep second hand. There is a Trapezoid-shaped date aperture at the three o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 100-hour power reserve. The 9.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding Blancpain caliber 1151 movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 29 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a gold rotor, and a self-compensating flat balance-spring. The Villeret collection was named in honor of the village in the Bernese Jura in Switzerland where Jehan-Jacques Blancpain founded his small workshop upstairs in his house at Villeret In 1735. This model was produced in a limited edition of 333 pieces.
