The hand-wound manufacture calibre GP09100-0002 is built around the brand's patented constant escapement, its buckled silicon blade set in the lower half of the dial, with offset hours and minutes and a linear six-day power reserve. The 18K rose gold case measures 46mm × 46mm with a thickness of 15mm, architectural in proportion yet more composed on the wrist than its size suggests. The openworked gray dial exposes the mechanism in layers. Honored with the Aiguille d'Or at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève, the escapement carries the initials of Luigi Macaluso, the Girard-Perregaux president who championed it.
