This is an 18k yellow gold Cartier Roadster W62005V1. It has an integral 18k yellow gold link "quick change" triple deployment bracelet, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a polished solid case back secured with 8 screws, engraved with gold hallmarks. The 44mm by 37mm solid two-body case, integral quick-change lugs, and stepped bezel are polished. The dial is rhodium plated with silvered sunray guilloche, an inner minute/seconds railway-style scale with luminous squares, and painted radial Roman numeral hour markers. It has blued steel baton hands with luminescent inserts, and a center blued sweep seconds hand. There is a date aperture at 3 o'clock magnified by a Cyclops lens in the crystal. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. The 10.2mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Roadster W62005V1 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Cartier caliber 3110 movement that's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance-spring, and a micrometer regulator. The Cartier Roadster was introduced in 2001, a design homage to 1950's and 60's racing cars. The Roadster's crown resembles a radiator cap, and it has easily interchangeable straps for either a casual everyday look, or a more refined evening style.
