This is a c. 1970's 18K white gold Vacheron & Constantin 7390. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k white gold Vacheron & Constantin tang buckle, and a mineral glass crystal. It has a pull out winding crown, and a solid snap down case back engraved with a serial, inside of which is engine turned and stamped "VACHERON ET CONSANTIN – SWISS – 7390," three hallmarks, and a serial number. The 31mm x 39mm solid cushion shaped two-body case, angled lugs, and flat-rimmed bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with black Roman numeral hour markers, blued feuille hands, and an applied silver Vacheron & Constantin Maltese cross at the 12 o'clock position. The 6mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Vacheron & Constantin 7390 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Vacheron & Constantin caliber K 1120 movement. It's rhodium plated, with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 36 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a Gyromax monometallic balance adjusted to temperature, isochronism, and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a 21K gold rotor segment, and an index regulator.
