This is a platinum IWC Da Vinci Automatic Vintage Collection, reference IW546105. It has an alligator leather strap with a platinum IWC tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back secured with four screws, and a screw-down winding crown. The 40mm by 41mm hexagonal/tonneau-shaped solid two-body case, hooded lugs, lapidated bezel, and the rim around the lugs and dial are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with applied silver baton hour markers, and black stick minute indices. It has polished steel baton hands with black inserts, and a center sweep seconds hand. There is a date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position, and it has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 80111 movement is rhodium plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 28 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a micrometer regulator, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. It oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This IWC Da Vinci Automatic Vintage Collection, reference IW546105, has a case reminiscent of a vintage 1950's television. It was produced in a limited edition of 500 examples.
