It includes a signed screw-down winding crown, and there is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured by 6 screws, and engraved with the serial number. The 43mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, and thin concave bezel are polished. The dial is silver with a recessed off-center time dial at 12 o'clock with applied white gold Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, and a white gold epee indicator hand. There is a recessed running small constant seconds subsidiary dial at the 6 o'clock position with black Arabic numerals, markers, and a white gold epee indicator hand. It has a black railway-style 60-minute scale around the perimeter with Arabic numerals every 5 minutes, indicated by a center white gold epee hand. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and it has a 46-hour power reserve at full wind. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portuguese Regulator Vintage Collection IW544403 has a mechanical manual winding IWC caliber 98245 (base IWC caliber 98900) movement with oeil-de-perdrix and Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 22 jewels (several mounted in gold chatons), a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a large index regulator with an engraved scale on the train plate.
