This is an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar, 5040J. It has a leather strap with an 18K yellow gold deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 35.8mm diameter solid, two-body curved Tonneau-shaped case is polished with a snap-on display sapphire crystal case back. The dial is white with applied yellow gold Breguet radial Arabic numeral hour markers, and yellow gold feuille hands. There is a painted black outer track with minute divisions. A subsidiary dial for the day and a 24-hour indicator are at 3 o'clock, and at 3 o'clock is an aperture for the month and leap year. The moon phase sub dial with date ring is at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters and the power reserve is 48 hours at maximum wind. The 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

The automatic Patek Philippe calibre 240 Q movement is rhodium-plated and stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark. It has fausses cotes embellishment and it's constructed with 27 jewels, 8 bridges, 275 components, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a free-sprung Glucydur Gyromax balance that adjusts for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a shock absorber mechanism, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a 22K gold micro-rotor. The mechanism oscillates at 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
