It's stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, and it's constructed with 34 jewels and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a 21K gold rotor with the Patek Calatrava symbol, an anti-shock system, and a free-sprung self-compensating flat balance spring. The Patek Philippe Gondolo Calendario 5135P-001 was introduced in c. 2008. The tonneau-shaped Gondolo collection was launched in 1993, Patek's contemporary re-examination of the stepped, stylistic lines of the 1920’s art deco movements that so influenced industrial design. The line is named for the “Chronometro Gondolo” pocket watches created by Patek Philippe for the Latin Brazilian Gondolo & Labouriau jewelers in Rio de Janeiro in 1902.
