This is an 18K rose gold A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 140.032. It has a leather strap with an 18K rose gold deployant buckle. The solid, 41.9 mm diameter three-body case, angled bezel, and downturned lugs are polished. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a sapphire display case back. There is a 36-hour up/down power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock; the dial is solid silver argenté with rose gold hands, and it has a small seconds sub dial at 6 o'clock. A unique digital jumping hour/minute mechanism with two window apertures are at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions between the dial and the case. The 12.9 mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 140.032 has a mechanical manual winding A.Lange & Sohne Caliber L043.1 movement that's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 78 jewels, 528 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a straight-line lever escapement, and two screwed gold chatons. Included are a shock-resistant screw balance, and a monometallic balance spring that adjusts to 5 positions. The balance wheel has opposing weights, and the mechanism oscillates with a frequency of 18,000 vph. It has a precision beat-adjustment system with a lateral setscrew and a whiplash spring. The A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 140.032 debuted in 2011, and is the world’s first mechanical wristwatch with a jumping numerals display.
