IWC Portugieser 7 Day Power Reserve
Why:
The Portugieser was the first high-end watch I got to hold when I was younger. The modern yet classical look of the blue sunburst dial with the leaf-style hands paired with the large movement that covered nearly the entire caseback was so interesting to me because I hadn’t seen anything like it before. I still like it to this day.
Day-to-day at EWC:
My day usually consists of logging new arrivals into the database, testing their functions and timing capabilities, ensuring that our operations continue seamlessly and that the watches are ready for our clients.
Grail:
Lang & Heyne’s Georg brings the perfect blend of simplicity and class to the table while offering some of the best finishing quality in the industry. The polished cathedral style hands and the crisp dial printing paired with the openworked movement that offers high polished finger bridges, wide anglage, excellent snailing, and exceptionally polished jewel sinks is what makes this watch special to me. I am a huge fan of movement decoration!

The small details are what make life so entertaining for me. There is so much more to everything when you take a moment to stop and observe, which probably explains my obsession with watches. Approaching my life this way inspired me to follow my near life-long dream by shifting my career from finance into the watch industry.
