The first watch that moved you:
Arnold & Son HM Perpetual Moon

Why:
I'm actually not sure if this was the first watch that moved me, but it's the first one that I truly felt was a must-have for me. I love the moonphase complication because it's a little romantic, a little nerdy, and wildly unnecessary for most people's day-to-day lives. This watch showcases the moon in all its glory, and has a corrector that's easy to use to quickly set the moonphase.

Day-to-day at EWC:
Managing the EWC blog, which includes writing, editing, and trying very hard not to want all of the watches we talk about

Grail:
The Grönefeld 1941 Remontoire, which features an eight seconds constant force mechanism and is the only watch that I have continually regretted not buying when it was available. I even wrote a love story about it.

The world should know:
Outside of my work with EWC, I oversee RedBar Group, the world's largest watch collector community, with over 90 chapters globally. I am a huge nerd and have a long list of interests, including avant-garde fashion, LEGO, science, art, travel, whisky, history, and jewelry, and that is not an exhaustive list. I spend far too much time thinking about the use of radioluminescent materials in watch dials.
