Taylor's Grail

Where you’re from:
I’m a native New Yorker at heart. Born and raised on the Upper West Side before my family moved to Rye, New York where I spent my formative years. I attended boarding school in New England, graduated from Elon University, and currently split my time between Boston and New York.
The first watch that moved you:
A classic yellow-gold Cartier Tank Louis and a Rolex Kermit.
Why:
There's something iconic about a caramel-colored alligator strap paired with those blued hands, sapphire cabochon, and architectural precision of the Roman dial all set against that beautiful yellow gold case. The Kermit is what truly hooked me, though, and was the first watch I ever fully obsessed over. It was my grail until I fell headfirst down the collecting rabbit hole, and there’s been no looking back since.
Day-to-day at EWC:
As Global Events Ambassador and Watch Specialist, my role lives at the intersection of client advisory, horological research, content creation, and global community engagement. In the showroom, I work closely with collectors to help them discover timepieces that align not just with their taste, but with their story.
Grail:
I can’t pick just one! Rexhep Rexhepi Chronomètre Contemporain in rose gold with a black dial for its quiet mastery. The Patek Philippe 5961R-010 because nothing moves me quite like a baguette bezel. And the F.P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain Boutique Edition in rose gold becuase I'm endlessly drawn to that black dial rose/yellow gold interplay.
The world should know:
Beyond life as a self-proclaimed horological junkie, I'm also a jewelry designer. I launched my own brand, T.W. Kessler, in 2019, creating bespoke pieces for discerning clients. When I'm not designing or talking watches, you'll find me indulging my love of real estate development or losing myself in a deep house set.
