    31133 Blancpain Milspec 1 "AM" Fifty Fathoms Circa 1964, one of the rarest vintage Blancpain references ever made and seldom available for sale, the AM Milspec 1 is unique in that it shares the same case as its military brother the Tornek Rayville TR 900, the precise history of the AM history is still 100% unconfirmed, however, through rigorous research, collectors have deduced that the watch was commissioned especially for the US Navy, the stainless steel brushed case is in exceptional original condition with original bevels still in tact, 3 piece case, automatic AS caliber, unlike other Milspec references this AM Milspec has a T Swiss T dial which is unique to this model, the black dial is in excellent condition and is completely unaltered, all the tritium on the dial and hands are 100% original to the watch, the dial is signed Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Milspec 1, moisture indicator at 6 o clock has aged uniformly with the dial, outer minute track, original bakelite bezel is specific to the AM model, acrylic crystal, (original acrylic crystal will also be supplied, it is fully "crazed" and was changed because it was very hard to see the time), brass anti magnetic dust cover (similar to those found on the TR900), caseback signed "Blancpain, Milspec, Automatic, Waterproof, Antimagnetic, Shock Protection, SN 9X" Size 41mm, thickness, Outstanding Original Condition for a rare and early Blancpain Fifty Fathoms "AM" Milspec 1.

    32160 Blancpain TR-900 Tornek Rayville TR900 Milspec, undoubtedly the more important US military watch in the history of wrist watches, manufactured and sold between 1964-1966 and delivered to the USA without the Blancpain TM on the dial (due to "Buy American act" of 1933) extremely rare as majority of examples were either destroyed, returned to Navy bases or lost in combat, it is estimated that roughly 1000 examples were delivered to the Navy, the stainless steel bead blasted case is in excellent condition with consistent wear through out, original black dial is in excellent condition with even luminous patina, dial is signed Tornek - Rayville US, moisture indicator at 6 o clock, iconic TR900 luminous hands and pointed second hand, all luminous is promethium - 147 as designated at the bottom of the dial, acrylic crystal, automatic AS caliber 1361, hacking seconds, original brass dust cover, anti-magnetic, case back is secured by outer ring, case back reads "NON MAGNETIC, DANGER, IF FOUND RETURN TO NEAREST MILITARY FACILITY, MIL-W-22176 SERIAL 04XX, Excellent Condition for a Blancpain Tornek Rayville TR900 and a very rare chance to own a tremendous piece of US Military history. This model was made for radium safe / for civilian use use without radium luminous on the markers, polished stainless steel two piece case is in excellent original condition, automatic signed Blancpain R310 movement, 17 jewels, original tritium dial is in excellent condition and is completely original and very glossy for its age, one of the best condition dials we have seen to date for this reference, patina has aged very nicely and evenly over time, iconic "no radiation" symbol to let users know that non radioactive paint (tritium) was used to add luminosity to the dial, radium was frequently used on earlier Fifty Fathoms examples, original bakelite bezel with minute hash marks is in excellent condition, original dust cover, size 41mm, SN 300xxx, circa 1965, We purchased the watch from an intermediary who purchased the watch from the original Navy officer who sent his watch to Blacpain for verification as well as complete service, plenty of Blancpain documentation including detailed analysis are with the package, the watch also has a picture of the Navy officer wearing the watch as well has official US Navy decommission papers dated from 1965, the original owner also provided the history of his military service but requested his pictures / certificates not be shown online, A very rare Blancpain No Radition example with tremendous military background and also in outstanding original condition.
