This is an 18K yellow gold Breguet Serpentine Triple Date, 3040 BR. It has a leather Strap with an 18K yellow gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 36mm diameter solid three-body case, ridged band, rounded stepped bezel, gold screwed bars, and straight lugs are polished. It has a Snap-on exhibition sapphire crystal case back. It has a winding crown with a sapphire cabochon top. The dial has a center circle of silver guilloche with painted Roman numeral hour markers in a surrounding plain reserve. There is an inner track with Arabic numerals for the date, an outer dot minute track, and blued steel Breguet hands including a serpentine hand for the date. It includes two rectangular aperture windows for the day of the week and the month at the 12 o'clock position. The moon phases and age of the moon subsidiary dial is at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant and the 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The heavily engraved automatic self-winding Breguet caliber 12"' movement is rhodium plated and entirely hand engraved with scrolls. It was constructed with 35 jewels, and anti-shock mechanism. There is a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
