This is a platinum Breguet Tourbillon 5 Day Automatic 5317PT/12/9V6. It includes a platinum case on an alligator leather strap with a platinum folding Breguet deployment clasp and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a signed pull-out winding crown and a screw down exhibition sapphire crystal display case back engraved with “BREGUET – REF. 5317,” hallmarks and a serial number. The 40mm diameter round three-body case, reeded case band, screwed straight angled lugs, and stepped convex bezel, are polished. The dial is matte silver guilloche over white gold with blued Breguet minute and hour hands and a brushed chapter ring with black Roman Numeral hour indices surrounded by a black dot minute/hour scale with white gold pips on the hours. It includes a circular guilloche power reserve at 12 o’clock with a brushed ¾ chapter ring, black Roman numerals and markers and a blued indicator hand. It has an open worked tourbillon regulator cage with constant running small seconds and a needle blued indicator hand with a brushed black dot outer ring at 6 o’clock, and with a center horizontal bridge secured by 2 blued screws. It has a 5-day/120-hour power reserve at full winding, It’s water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breguet Tourbillon 5 Day Automatic 5317PT/12/9V6 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Breguet caliber 587DR T movement, that’s rhodium plated with extensive hand-engraved embellishment and a hand engraved skeletonized 22k white gold rotor including the large letter “B.” It’s constructed with 32 jewels, 217 components, a Breguet balance spring, a monometallic balance adjusted to 6 positions, an anti-shock system, and the movement oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz).
