This is an 18k yellow gold Cartier Diabolo Tourbillon Power Reserve 2050A. It includes an 18k yellow gold case on an alligator leather strap with a matching 18k yellow gold deployment clasp, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a cone-shaped pull-out winding crown set with a sapphire cabochon and there is an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 8 screws and it's engraved with "CARTIER – AUTOMATIC – SWISS MADE – WATER RESISTANT – 18K – 2050," hallmarks and a serial number. The 37mm diameter round solid two-body case, downturned scalloped lugs set with sapphire cabochons on each lug end, and flat thick rounded bezel, are polished. The dial is silver sun wave guilloche with black Roman numeral hour markers and the secret signature at the X, blued Cartier "Observatoire-style" hour and minute hands, and there is a perimeter black railway-style minute scale. It includes an arched 64-hour power reserve indicator with a blued hand at the 12 o'clock position, and there is a large circular gold-ringed open tourbillon at 6 o'clock with constant running small seconds. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Diabolo Tourbillon Power Reserve 2050A has a highly decorated mechanical automatic self-winding Cartier caliber 102 movement. It's completely hand engraved gilt brass and it's constructed with 39 jewels, lateral lever escapements, a monometallic balance, and an anti-shock system. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, a 22k gold rotor, and a tourbillon regulator with a polished steel carriage. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Cartier Diabolo Tourbillon Power Reserve 2050A was introduced c. 1995, the first Cartier watch with the tourbillon.
