This is a platinum F.P Journe Octa Chronograph (octachronplatruthe). It has a leather strap and a matching platinum tang Buckle. It has a round pushbutton fly back chronograph with a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and a sapphire crystal display case back secured with 6 screws, with the "Invenit et Fecit" Journe motto engraved. The solid 38.1mm diameter two-body case, downturned lugs, and rounded, cupped bezel are polished. The white gold dial has an off-centered hour dial with black painted Arabic numeral hours and minutes, and a square date aperture between 11 and 12 o'clock. It has a center sweep chronograph hand and blued steel "Journe" hands. There is a minute totalizer subsidiary dial at 9 o'clock. It has a 120-hour/5 day power reserve, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100feet. It includes a COSC certificate (Certified Official Swiss Chronometer), and the seconds and 60-minute register are secured to the 18K platinum plate by 6 screws. The 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding F.P. Journe caliber 1300 movement is brass with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 32 jewels and a shock absorber mechanism. There is a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic 4-arm balance with 4 timing weights adjusted to 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, and an off-center bi-directional 22K gold guilloche rotor. The movement is engraved "Exclusive Power Reserve System" and "Precision Chronometer". F.P. Journe introduced this watch in 2002.
