This is a .950 platinum Omega Speedmaster Moon Phase Skeleton 3688.30.32. It includes an alligator leather strap with a .950 platinum folding deployment buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals (domed on the dial) with anti-reflective treatment. It has a signed screw down winding crown with crown guards, round chronograph push buttons, and there is an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back engraved with "OMEGA - SPEEDMASTER – PROFESSIONAL – PLATINUM – LIMITED SERIES." The 42mm diameter barrel-shaped three-body solid case, straight lugs, and flat platinum dial with an engraved tachymeter to 300 UPH, are polished and brushed satin. The skeletonized dial is made of white gold and has blued skeletonized pointed baton hour and minute hands, a blued center sweep second hand with a wedge-shaped counterbalance, and extensive hand engraving. There is a white perimeter chapter ring that is connected to the subsidiary dials and has square applied blued hour markers around a blue minute/second scale. The three connected subsidiary dials have blue Arabic numerals, markers, and indicator hands, including a small constant running seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock, and there is a color moon phase dial with a radial date perimeter ring at the 12 o'clock position with an arrow-shaped pointer. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 45-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Speedmaster Moon Phase Skeleton 3688.30.32 has a mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 3604 (based on the Omega caliber 1866, in turn based on the Lemania caliber 1874) column wheel chronograph movement. It's skeletonized, heavily engraved, and hand finished by Armin Strom. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber system, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It includes an index regulator, blued screws, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The Omega Speedmaster Moon Phase Skeleton 3688.30.32 was released in 2003 in collaboration with independent watchmaker Armin Strom, in an edition of only 57 examples worldwide. It was only the 6th Speedmaster ever to be released with a skeleton dial and movement.
