Patek Philippe 3979J Grand Complication Minute Repeater 3979J, introduced in 1989 in celebration of Patek's 150th Anniversary and this being their first automatic minute repeater, with this example being one of the first ten made with the very coveted Jean-Pierre Hagmann case. Only 100 examples were produced between 1989 and 2002. 18k yellow gold case on a strap with a matching 18k yellow gold tang buckle, automatic Patek Philippe caliber R 27 PS movement, minute repeater with two cathedral goings for chiming the time activated by the slide on the side of the case, white porcelain dial with painted black Roman numeral hour markers and outer back railroad track, small seconds at 6 o'clock, display back showcasing the beauty and craftsmanship of the complicated Patek Philippe caliber. Diameter: 33mm, Thickness: 11mm, Excellent Condition with Patek Philippe box, original strap, additional solid caseback stamped "JHP" and original certificate dated March of 1990.
