This is a 950 platinum Patek Philippe Advanced Research Perpetual Calendar 5550P-001. It has an alligator leather strap with a platinum deployment buckle, and an anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown, a corrector on the left side case band for the perpetual calendar at 9 o'clock, and there is an exhibition sapphire display flip-up case back with a Cyclops magnifying lens over the balance wheels and escapement. It has a single 0.02ct diamond that's set between the lower lugs on the case band, and the 37mm diameter solid two-body case, curved lugs, and rounded stepped bezel, are polished. The dial is vertically brushed silver with applied faceted rose gold "boat-shaped" baton hour markers, pink gold feuille hands with luminous inserts, luminous pips, and a perimeter railroad-style minute track. There are three recessed silver subsidiary dials with black markers, Arabic numerals, and rose gold indicator hands, including the days of the week and an inner 24-hour register at 9 o'clock, a radial date and moon phase indicator at 6 o'clock, and there is a month and inner leap year dial at the 3 o'clock position. It has a 70-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, and the 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Patek Philippe Advanced Research Perpetual Calendar 5550P-001 has a mechanical automatic Patek Philippe caliber 240 Q Si movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's stamped with the Patek Philippe quality seal. It's constructed with 27 jewels, 275 components, an "Oscillomax" silicon escapement system, a "Pulsomax" escape wheel and lever, and a monometallic Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions. It includes a shock absorber device, a self-compensating free-sprung Silinvar Spiromax balance spring, and a 21K gold rotor with zirconium ball bearings. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
