This is an 18k white gold Roger Dubuis Sympathie Bulletin D'Observatoire S37 570. It includes an 18k white gold case on an alligator leather strap with an 18k white gold tang buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has the edition number engraved on the left-side case band, and there is an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 8 screws, and a signed pull-out winding crown. The 37mm by 37mm "carrée cambrée" (square cambered) solid two-body case, downturned lugs with screwed gold bars, and sculptural “shield” shaped stepped bezel are polished. The glossy black dial has applied gold Roman numerals at the quarter-hours, faceted applied gold “dart” shaped hour markers, white gold “feuille” leaf hands, and a white gold center sweep seconds hand. There is a 300 second scale around the perimeter with white Arabic numerals every twenty-five seconds, It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 7.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Roger Dubuis Sympathie Bulletin D'Observatoire S37 570 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Roger Dubuis caliber RD57 (based on the Lemania caliber 8810) movement. It's stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, and it's rhodium plated, with Cotes de Geneve and oeil de perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber device, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance-spring, a central rotor with a pink gold "RD" monogram, and a swan-neck micrometer regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). This is an extremely rare watch, produced in an extremely limited edition of 28 total examples and introduced c. 2000.
