This Roger Dubuis Hommage H37 is one of only 28 examples made in this configuration, built during the brief window when Roger Dubuis assembled and regulated these watches himself, before the brand passed to Richemont. It runs the automatic calibre RD57, built on the well regarded Lemania 8810 and then elevated with the Poinçon de Genève, a hallmark carried almost exclusively by Patek Philippe at the time. The 18 carat white gold case measures 37mm across and 8.5mm thick, its stepped concave bezel and curved lugs giving it more presence than the diameter suggests. The dial is the real draw, a two tone silver sector layout with a cream centre, applied white gold numerals and a railway minute track, a vintage inspired design rarely seen in white gold. A quietly serious piece from a maker whose earliest output is now among the most collectible he produced.
