This is a stainless-steel Tudor Oysterdate Chronograph "Big Block" 79180, with a case made by Rolex in Geneva. It has an integral stainless steel 78360 Tudor bracelet with 589 endlinks, and an acrylic crystal. There is a protected Rolex Triplock screw-down winding-crown, screw-down chronograph push buttons, and a screw-down solid case back engraved with the Rolex crown and "ORIGINAL OYSTER." The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, and flat stainless-steel bezel with a tachymeter graduation to 500 UPH, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with black subsidiary dials, luminous steel baton hands, applied baton hour markers with luminous end pips around a black perimeter minute/one-fifth second scale. It has a center sweep chronograph hand with a white arrow tip, and there is a date aperture at the 3 o'clock position underneath a Cyclops magnification lens. There are three black subsidiary dials with white Arabic numerals, markers, and steel indicator hands, including a running constant small seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 12 o'clock. It has a 40-hour power reserve at full winding, it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 14.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Tudor Oysterdate Chronograph "Big Block" 79180 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Tudor/Valjoux caliber 7750 column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber device, polished screws, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, an engraved gilded rotor, and a micrometer regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Tudor Oysterdate Chronograph "Big Block" 79180 is a second generation revamp introduced in 1989.
