More about Tudor 79910 Heritage Ranger SS / SS

This is a stainless steel Tudor Heritage Ranger 79910. It has an integral Stainless steel link bracelet with a double folding deploymant buckle, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a solid screw-down case back, engraved with "TUDOR – SWISS – GENEVE." It has a screw-down winding crown with the TUDOR rose in relief, and the 41mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned integral lugs, bracelet, and cupped bezel are all polished/brushed. The dial is black with luminescent baton and arrow hands, Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, and a red center sweep seconds hand with a luminous pointer. There is a perimeter minute/seconds track, and it's water resistant to 150 meters/500 feet. It has a 38-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Tudor Heritage Ranger 79910 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Tudor caliber 2824 movement that's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes and oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism.

This Tudor Heritage Ranger 79910 is a new version of the 1960's Tudor watch; it was introduced at the Swiss BaselWorld show in 2014.
