This is an 18K yellow gold Ulysse Nardin Michelangelo Big Date 236-48. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k yellow gold tang buckle, and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It has a fancy fluted signed screw down winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws, and it's engraved with "ULYSSE NARDIN – MICHELANGELO – 100M," hallmarks, serial numbers, and the UN anchor logo. The 35mm by 37mm solid barrel-shaped two-body case engraved with "ULYSSE NARDIN" on the left side case band, gently curved lapidated lugs, and curvilinear convex barrel-shaped bezel, are polished. It includes a silver dial with some patina in the center, black printed Breguet-style Arabic numerals on the even hours and double stroke stick baton indices on the odds. It has black steel feuille leaf hand with luminous inserts, a black center sweep seconds hand, and there is an inner barrel-shaped railway-style minute/seconds scale with golden luminous hour markers, and black Arabic numerals on the quarter-minute positions, with a red 60 underneath 12 o'clock. There is a black-ringed double aperture big date window at 2 o'clock, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Ulysse Nardin Michelangelo Big Date 236-48 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber UN-22-15-1326 (based on the ETA 2892-A2) movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, a nickel-finished lever movement, and it's constructed with 23 jewels, an Incabloc anti-shock device, and an Etachron regulator system. It includes a ball-bearing rotor, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
