This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, reference 26238CE, is the first Offshore rendered entirely in black ceramic — case, bezel, pushers, crown, and integrated bracelet all executed in the scratch-resistant material for a fully monochromatic, stealthy presence. Powered by the in-house automatic calibre 4404, an integrated flyback chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch, it displays hours, minutes, small seconds, the chronograph with 30-minute and 12-hour counters, and a date, backed by a 70-hour power reserve and wound by a 22K gold rotor. The ceramic case measures 42mm across and 15.3mm in thickness, muscular in the Offshore tradition yet lighter on the wrist than its size suggests. A black "petite tapisserie" dial, set off by white-gold applied markers and luminescent hands, keeps the palette tight against the eight signature hexagonal screws of the bezel. A bold, modern evolution of the Offshore in its most contemporary material.
