This Audemars Piguet reference 26420RO is the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph in rose gold, the bolder, more muscular sports chronograph that grew out of Gérald Genta's Royal Oak and became a design icon in its own right. This generation matters for its engine: AP's in-house integrated flyback chronograph, calibre 4401, a modern movement that replaced the older module-based construction the Offshore chronograph long relied on. The 18k rose gold case measures 43mm in height and width with a thickness of 14.4mm, its octagonal bezel — here in black ceramic and secured by eight exposed screws — carrying the unmistakable Royal Oak signature, and it is water resistant to 100m. The black "Méga Tapisserie" dial sets three chronograph counters against rose gold applied markers and luminous Royal Oak hands, with the date at 4:30.
