Beneath the curved crystal sits the manually wound calibre 9780 MC, a movement whose slimness is what makes the design possible. The cream eggshell dial carries elongated Roman numerals, a railway minute track and blued apple-shaped hands, with a ruby cabochon set in the crown in the manner of Cartier's platinum pieces.
