F. P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain Platinum BRASS MOVEMENT 38MM COMPLETE FPJ SERVICED

F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain "Brass Movement" circa 2001, arguably one of the most sought after and iconic of all of FP Journe watches given the complication and configuration, this style of Tourbillon represents the first generation - produced from 1999 to 2003, platinum case on a strap with a platinum tang buckle, the platinum case is in excellent condition, manual wind rhodium plated brass F.P. Journe caliber 1498 movement, 42-hour power reserve, iconic 18k gold dial with exposed tourbillon has a beautiful rich patina and is in exceptional condition, the dial has an even and clean "shimmer" and has a very charming look (this watch was probably one of the last watches with this dial finish as he then changed to the matte white finish during sometime during 2001), blued hands, power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock, exposed Remontoir d'Egalite at 6 o'clock, display back with the shallow engravings on the back (as the deeper laser engravings didn't start until 2003), sapphire crystal, diameter: 38mm, thickness: 9.2mm, Serial Number XXX - 01T, Excellent condition for a beautiful and historically important FP Journe Tourbillon with original walnut presentation box, instruction booklet, and original warranty card dated 2001. The watch was just completely serviced by FP Journe in 2018.
