The F. P. Journe Chronometre Optimum in 950 platinum is offered in the 42mm case size with a stated total height of 10.10mm. It is powered by the manually wound Calibre 1510, built with 18K rose gold plates and bridges and specified for a 70-hour power reserve. This caliber uses two mainspring barrels in parallel and a 1-second remontoire d'egalite positioned at 11 o'clock on the dial side. The regulating system is the EBHP high-performance bi-axial escapement, a two-wheel direct-impulse architecture designed to function without oil. The display pairs an off-center hours and minutes dial with small seconds at 9 o'clock and a power reserve at 6 o'clock, executed on a gold and silver guilloche Clous de Paris dial. Sapphire crystals are specified on both sides, with the natural dead-beat seconds indicated on the back of the movement, and the watch is typically delivered on a leather strap with a case-matching pin buckle.
