F.P Journe Tourbillon Souverain, This is an early example from the first series featuring the smaller case and brass movement, this style of Tourbillon has now been discountinued by Mr. Journe and replaced by the new vertical Tourbillon Souverain. platinum on a strap with a platinum tang buckle, manual wind rhodium plated brass F.P. Journe caliber 1498 movement, 18k gold dial with exposed tourbillon has a beautiful rich patina, blued hands, power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock, exposed Remontoir d'Egalite at 6 O'Clock, display back, sapphire crystal, 42 hour power reserve, diameter: 38mm, thickness: 9.2mm, water resistant, Like new condition of a beautiful and historically important piece with original box, papers, and original purchase receipt; dated 2001.
