Introduced in 2022, it was a genuinely new proposition rather than a variation on an existing model, and that novelty is much of what sets it apart. Its self-winding movement belongs to the 31-260 family, Patek's most current generation of automatic calibres and the same base that drives the 5236P in-line perpetual calendar, turning on a platinum micro-rotor visible through the sapphire back. The 18k white gold Calatrava case measures 41mm in height and width with a thickness of 11mm, its band worked in a fine hobnail guilloché that conceals the recessed correctors, so the watch wears broad yet slim. The textured charcoal-grey dial, with applied numerals and a darkened gradient rim, gives the piece its modern, faintly vintage character.
