This Porsche Design Chronograph 1 GP 2023 Edition is the marque's event watch for the GP Ice Race at Zell am See, made in 250 numbered examples as the race's official timing partner and built on the line that began in 1972 with the first all-black chronograph, drawn by F. A. Porsche from the dashboard of the 911. It suits the owner who reads a watch's appeal through the car culture behind it. It runs on the automatic calibre WERK 01.240, a COSC-certified flyback chronograph with a bilingual day and date. The titanium case measures 40.8mm across and 14mm in thickness, its crown, pushers and lugs picked out in contrasting black against the raw metal. The dial is matte black with white Super-LumiNova markings and a red chronograph hand. The caseback carries the race's Yeti-on-a-tractor signet and the edition number, a direct link to the event it was made to time.
