This Rolex reference 116505 is the Cosmograph Daytona in Everose gold with a rose-toned dial — a warm, tonal take on Rolex's motorsport chronograph. Everose is Rolex's own rose gold alloy, blended with a touch of platinum to hold its colour and resist fading, and here the pink dial set against the matching gold case gives the watch a soft, monochromatic character. The tachymeter bezel, engraved for reading average speed, keeps the Daytona's racing purpose in view. Driving it is the in-house calibre 4130, a column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph with a 72-hour reserve and chronometer certification. First launched around 2008 as the debut Everose Daytona, the 116505 was later succeeded by the 126505. The 18k Everose gold Oyster case measures 40mm in height and width with a thickness of 12.4mm, water resistant to 100m, its rose dial framing three tonal sub-dials.
